About AK Sciences Marketing
AK Sciences Marketing was founded in 2014 by Andree Kraker, who at that point had spent nearly 27 years in sales and marketing with a leading manufacturer of electron and ion microscopes. Following a layoff, Andree decided to focus on helping the many small companies who also produce microscopy and analytical solutions.
Her understanding of not only the instrumentation, but also its application in research, allows her to successfully partner with companies in need of marketing support for their materials research, life sciences and electronics products and services. This knowledge allows her come up to speed quickly on new technologies, or begin contributing right away as an extension of a client's marketing team.
Andree is a volunteer with and a member of the Microscopy Society of America, and she attends their annual meeting to keep on top of new discoveries and products. When not working with microscopy companies, Andree is an avid underwater, nature and landscape photographer. She is proud to volunteer with Valhalla Dive Group, a Pacific Northwest-based organization whose mission is to introduce military veterans to scuba diving as a way of healing and experiencing the freedom of being underwater.
